About Me
I grew up moving around as an Army kid, always adjusting to new places and faces. Along the way, I’ve faced my own struggles, but those experiences have shaped who I am today. After college, I spent years bartending before finding my way to nursing, which took me to emergency rooms in Chicago, Seattle, and San Francisco. I’ve seen a lot, and it’s made me both compassionate and resilient. I believe in meeting people where they are, with an open mind and an open heart. Outside of work, I love reading, cooking, and finding peace among old-growth trees. At home, I share life with my partner, our daughter, two dogs, two cats, and Kiwi, the bearded dragon.
My philosophy
I’ve witnessed firsthand the critical need for compassionate, accessible mental health care.
Having seen the vast spectrum of human experience, I approach each person with empathy and respect, knowing that no two journeys are the same. While many of us carry a narrative shaped by negative experiences or painful experiences, these do not have to define us. My hope is that you learn to understand and reframe these beliefs, learning to recognize your inherent self-worth. Self-compassion is essential. Together, we will create a dynamic and individualized treatment plan that honors your unique needs.
True healing requires attention to both mind and body, and my approach reflects this holistic perspective.
I treat individuals across the lifespan, using evidence-based medication management in a therapeutic context. My goal is to help you open up so that you can do the necessary work for lasting healing.
I offer the flexibility of both in-person and telehealth appointments to meet you where you are.
